After the glitz and glamour of fashion week, a new colour trend is on the horizon: red. Usurping the Valentino pink that dominated the whole of 2022, red seems to be taking over the fashion streets and catwalks. At least twelve designers at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) gave red the greenlight to reign as the soon-to-be-everywhere shade of 2023. Some of the most notable looks, such as fluid trousers and sharp-shouldered blazer dresses shown at Theory, Jason Wu, Alice + Olivia, and Alejandra Alonso Rojas, took the sophisticated, structured suit sets received by street style and injected them with a fresh palette.
