The world of fashion operates in its very own little bubble: escapist, always fabulous, and often far removed from the mundane. Every week, we’re flooded with so many images on social media that it can be dizzying to try and keep up. Fortunately, the Previdar fashion team has their fingers firmly on the pulse of the best fashion Instagrams this month – starring your favourite celebrities, influencers, “It” girls, and models – which means you don’t have to miss a single fashion post.
This month’s best fashion Instagrams felt particularly trendy, with denim taking centre stage. Borrowing from street style enthusiasts in London, model and fashionista Lethabo Shai looked chic in long-length denim shorts, with ripped detail. The ensemble’s sophistication was propelled by a white, long-sleeved poplin shirt and white stilettos. Elsewhere, award-winning media personality DJ Zinhle hopped on the return of the denim-on-denim trend – one of Y2K’s most divisive fashion trends.
“Fatal Seduction” actress Lunathi Mampofu offered up a bit of throwback street style via oversized bottoms with a green bomber jacket and an assemblage of accessories. And finally, style connoisseur Siyanda Bani and supermodel Hailey Bieber illustrated luxury in two ways. Siyanda opted for a chic all-black ensemble comprising a double-breasted blazer, a ruffle crop top, straight-leg trousers, and golden slingback pumps. Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber embodied her version of tomato girl summer with a corseted mini and red satin bustier and matching strappy heels.
