ICYMI: we are still painting the town red in 2024. From the runway to the high street, we’re seeing all our favourite looks through rose-tinted glasses – splashed in shades of ruby, crimson, and scarlet. This comes as no surprise considering that a jolt of the vibrant hue can infuse any outfit with a potent dose of pizzazz. The hyper-saturated hue appeared on nearly every runway in 2023, and its latest manifestation is the red handbag trend –  a simple, high-impact accessory you can use to stay on-trend in 2024.

Saddle up! Beyoncé is reviving cowboy-core with her chic Western fashion inspired style run. Considering that she is one of the most iconic musicians of our time, it is no surprise that her cowboy-core wardrobe is changing the idea Western wear and who wears it. From chic cowboy hats and modish denim pieces to bolo ties and leather boots, the ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ hit-maker is reviving the timeless aesthetic.

Fashion has notably taken a turn down the minimalist road, where wardrobe essentials such as plain white shirts and classic black blazers reign supreme. Both of those closet essentials reached new heights on the runway this season, from Burberry’s deceptively chic trench coat iterations to the effortlessly polished finishing touches at Loewe. And what better way to jump on the minimalist bandwagon than reiterating some good old sophisticated elegant ensembles?
