Hosted at Mbombela Stadium on 27 April 2024, this year’s edition of the esteemed Metro FM Awards – themed ‘Black to the Future’ lived up to the great anticipation. From extraordinary nominees to sensational victories, the awards show was one of South African music’s biggest nights.

Award-winning producer Kabza De Small emerged as the overall biggest winner of the night, walking away with four gongs, including one for Song of the Year for “Imithandazo”, which also walked away with Best Collaboration.

Among the standout winners of the night was rapper A-Reece, who took home the Best Hip Hop award for his single “Ving Rhames”, pipping the likes of Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, and Da L.E.S.

Expectedly, the red carpet was an extravagant fashion affair with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars being dressed to the nines.

Metro FM radio presenter (and Previdar Magazine feature alumni) LootLove was one of the standout fashion mongers of the night as she dazzled the red carpet in dreamy couture gowns.
