Award-winning entrepreneur, Sbahle Sithole is the embodiment of an entrepreneurial jack of all trades. From establishing her successful construction company, SMAIS Bricks to launching her fitness imprint, Revenge Fit Apparel, innovation is second nature for the accomplished businesswoman.
Aside from being a boss babe, the 2022 recipient of the prestigious African Consumer Choice Awards is a digital entrepreneur and model, with extensive experience in working with various brands. Moreover, Sbahle is a fitness junkie, which is part of the reason why she founded her brainchild, Revenge Fit.
We get to know the consummate entrepreneur as she shares her ultimate favourite things with us, from a beautiful bouquet of flowers to giving back to disadvantaged communities.
Working Out
First on my list is an absolute no-brainer. I love working out and the feeling I get every time I do work out. I think it’s always great to work on yourself and invest in challenging activities that continuously better your health. Another reason why I love working out is because I truly believe it encourages you to focus on working on your discipline and to always remember that you are your biggest and only competition.
Grapes
I really don’t know what it is about grapes but I’m extremely obsessed with grapes. My fridge will 99% of the time have grapes in it. I love a good fruit bowl overall but I’m not likely to like it if it doesn’t have any grapes at all.
Matching Mani & Pedi
I think every girl can agree with me when I say there’s nothing like a good ‘maintenance day’. My favourite part of maintenance day is getting a matching manicure and pedicure. It just makes me feel like I’m a girly girl who can take over the world. I definitely lean more toward French tips and nude colours.
Flowers
The quickest way to my heart is without a doubt through flowers. I absolutely love receiving flower, whether it’s from friends or family but of course, nothing compares to receiving a bouquet from my partner.
Sunglasses
I probably have at least 3 pairs of sunglasses that are always in my car. Apart from them always being able to help me out when I’m a few days late for a lash fill, I think they just really add that extra finishing touch to any outfit. Be it when I’m running errands or simply going out, a good pair of sunglasses is always a must!
Giving Back
I’ve had the privilege of being part of an organization which prioritised giving back to school children from rural and underprivileged backgrounds. We assisted in giving back to two primary and secondary schools with school shoes, sanitary pads, and other school essentials. Seeing the joy that this brought to the children really warmed my heart and encouraged me to continue giving back even in my own capacity and within my own companies.
Jewellery
There’s nothing I love more than unique pieces of jewellery. I genuinely have such a great appreciation for the craftsmanship which goes into creating unique pieces of jewellery and those that can be personalised. I always say, when you have no idea what to get someone as a gift, get them some jewellery!
Empowering Women
In 2023 I had my first ever SMAIS Bricks – Female Industrialist Seminar which is a seminar I initially initiated for women who are in male-dominated industries. Being someone who comes from a male-dominated industry myself, I felt it was important to create a platform where women in the same industries can come together and build a community where we can uplift each other and connect. This is an event that I plan to host annually and expand to create networking throughout all industries.
Perfume
My favourite all-time compliment is “you smell so good”. I honestly love smelling good and I never compromise when it comes to a good bottle of perfume. I have a few favourites, however they are all dependant on where I’m going and what ill be doing and because I love having a unique scent, I love mixing two or three perfumes together to have that unique effect.
Revenge Fit Apparel
Last but definitely not least, one of my favourite things has to to be my fitness apparel. I love a cute set that I can wear to the gym which helps me feel confident and most importantly – comfortable. I love wearing the Revenge Fit Apparel sets to the gym, to the airport or even to run some errands. I’m obsessed with all the colours but I must admit that the Cinnamon set has now become my ultimate fave!
