Music
My Day doesn’t function without music, I have a playlist for all my moods, even one for my kids. I’m also finally getting into Jazz so I’m excited to find new artists.
Sweets
Sour is the best! I love buying the Woolworths bucket.
Sunglasses
I have a collection, so do my girls. They complete every outfit and almost give you an alter ego, luckily for me, the shape of my face accommodates most styles. The bigger the better.
Plants
I’m a plant mom and really found a rhythm with the plants in my home. I’ve named all of them, I speak to them. My peace lily gave me the biggest confidence boost after it grew out last year, I had no idea it was a peace lily when I bought it and after figuring out how it wants to be nurtured, it took months mind you, a peace Lily grew out and it was the perfect gift.
Diaries/Journals
I enjoy writing on paper, writing down my thoughts. I’ve found that I prefer writing in a diary over typing on my laptop or phone. I have different journals for different things. I.e a dream journal, a learning journal (where I jot down new things I’m learning about.) or my personal one.
Fresh flowers
Every home needs flowers, I love fest flowers around mine. I quite enjoy sunflowers and tulips. The best arrangements are from botanicals.
Taking walks
I find this so therapeutic. Another form of exercise that just calms my mind. I take walks with my girls, we look at plants trying to figure out what they are called, and teaching them about things. I’m so present in those moments because they are experiencing things for the first time and we get to experience those together.
Coats
Long jackets, different prints, styles, some faux fur – anything. I just love jackets and coats.
My Dyson Vacuum
This is such an adult thing to say but honestly, that vacuum cleaner has changed the way I experience cleaning my home.
Tequila
Gold, haha! Perfect for celebration or after a hard day.
