Soweto-born actress Angela Sithole does not need an introduction. From playing the charismatic character of Terry Ramotsetsi in local fan favourite telenovela, “Zabalaza” to starring in Netflix’s hit series, “Savage Beauty”, Angela has earned her stripes in the performing arts. Beyond the small screen, the actress has also won the hearts of Mzansi’s film fanatics with her valiant performances on local productions such as “All About Love” and “Knuckle City.”

Aside from her love for acting, Angela is an aficionado of the finer things in life. Her favourite things include palatable delicacies and blissful self-care practices.

We have a chat with the actress about her favourite things, which indisputably illustrate her implacable taste for some of life’s prime pleasures.

Perfume

One thing I love is smelling good. Whether I’m in the house or going out. I have to smell good! The Maison OUD satin mood is currently my favourite scent.

Pasta

I love pasta in general but pesto pasta is in my top 3.

Sweet Pleasures

I don’t call them guilty pleasures because I don’t feel guilty when I devour this Cadbury Biscuit slab. I am known for my sweet tooth in my family.

Travelling

I love to travel. Meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and trying out new food. Being near water brings me so much peace.

Margarita

I am definitely a Marg’ baby! This is my go to summer drink.

Dresses

There is something about dresses that makes me feel like a lady. Be it a cute short dress or a long dress. I’m that girl.

Lip Gloss

The Maybelline Lifter Gloss is one lip gloss that will forever be famous in my eyes. I swear by it.

Adventures

I love outdoor activities because I am an adrenaline junkie. I enjoy bungee jumping, skydiving and quad biking a lot.

Spas

Spa dates are my favourite. With a hectic shooting schedule, one needs time to relax and enjoy soothing massages.

Gym

I never imagined myself saying this but I’m starting to enjoy the gym. It has turned into “Me Time” and helps to stimulate my mind.
