We interview the reality star about her Big Brother Titans milestone, philanthropy work, entrepreneurship, and more.
PREVIDAR: You are popularly known for being one of the fan favourites from Big Brother Titans, which you ultimately won. How did you feel about winning the sensational show and how has your life changed since then?
Khosi: Winning the Big Brother show was very life-changing! I was humbled and so grateful for the love and support of my fans and that Mzansi saw Khosi for who she really was. It provided me the opportunity to meet so many great people and pursue some projects that I had manifested in the Big Brother show. I have gone on to travel all around, work with amazing brands, and start my fitness brand, ‘Active Lifestyle’ as well as my NPO ‘Good Deeds.’ I’m forever grateful for the doors Big Brother opened for me, especially my most recent project ‘Khoffee with Khosi.’ Stay tuned to my socials for that one!

PREVIDAR: Speaking of ‘Active Lifestyle Brands’, how did the brand come about and why is fitness important to you?
Khosi: I have always been a gym junkie! I love all things fitness and taking care of my body. In the Big Brother house, I was known to exercise and be active. An Active Lifestyle was planned and birthed in the Big Brother house, and thanks to my amazing fans it’s doing really well. I wanted to create gorgeous and good quality active wear for women that will make them feel comfortable on their fitness journey or just snatch them up for whichever errands they are running! *Laughs*
I am passionate about catering to women, since they are my main audience. Reemphasising the importance of fitness, whether its at home, taking a walk, whatever it is, lets us be the best versions of ourselves and take care of our gorgeous bodies and look drop dead gorgeous while doing it!

PREVIDAR: Aside from your entrepreneurial endeavour, you’re also a humanitarian. Why was it important for you to establish the ‘Good Deeds’ NPO?
Khosi: ‘Good Deeds’ is extremely close to my heart. Growing up in KZN or just South Africa as a whole you see the social economic climate is dire. I wanted to give back where I could and make sure our communities are uplifted. Humanitarian work is always something I’ve been passionate about. ‘Good Deeds’ has multiple branches in different projects and is doing well, I plan to increase the number of branches soon and hopefully assist on a continental scale.
PREVIDAR: You have quite a large following on social media with many South Africans being very fond of you. How does the reception on social media make you feel?
Khosi: I love my fans so much! I am very blessed to have the loyal fanbase I have currently. All this would have not been possible without them, it is very humbling to be loved and accepted just for being myself, and for that, I will be forever grateful. They always support my every move and all my projects which continues to uplift me and allow me to do the work that I do. My fans also constantly donate to my projects, and support my businesses which I can never thank them enough for. I’m just very grateful for them and the opportunity Big Brother gave me!

PREVIDAR: Aside from philanthropy and business, what are your other interests?
Khosi: I love hosting and I am immersing myself in the talk show space with my new show, ‘Khoffee with Khosi.’ It is a dream of mine that I started in the Big Brother House actually. I interview the housemates back at the Big Brother house and have coffee with them. Since then exactly a year after my entrance to Big Brother I have been hosting my very own talk show Khoffee with Khosi, with the Big Brother castmates themselves. That’s been one of my other passions that I am pursuing at the moment. I have also hosted many large-scale shows all around Africa. I hope to grow ‘Khoffee with Khosi’ internationally as well. Moreover, I love travelling which helps me unwind with the busy schedule I have!
PREVIDAR: You are also quite the fashionista. How would you describe your personal style?
Khosi: Thank you! *Chuckles* I would describe my style as very classy and girly. I love dresses and anything that makes me feel like a lady! I’ve always been big on fashion, so being in this industry allows me to explore that and experiment with different colours and textures and play dress up! My style is very bold and classy!

PREVIDAR: What is your go-to fashion accessory at the moment?
Khosi: At the moment I love me a good pair of heels since I’m in heels most of the time. I also love a good pair of earrings to tie my looks together.
PREVIDAR: You were also nominated for the 40 Under 40 SA Awards. What was your reaction to being nominated for the esteemed awards?
Khosi: I was completely taken off guard! Again I am always humbled to be recognised for my work and just being myself, I am extremely grateful and excited to attend the awards! Just a year ago my life was in a completely different direction, and now I’m nominated for awards? It’s sometimes hard to wrap my head around how drastically my life has changed. I can only be grateful to God and my fans for helping me get to this point.
PREVIDAR: What can we expect from Khosi Twala in 2024?
Khosi: You can expect the highly anticipated ‘Khoffee with Khosi’ that will be running for the next few months. Definitely more hosting and travelling and brand collaborations. This year is about expanding the Khosi brand.
