Awards season is in full swing, and the 29th Critics Choice Awards are the latest on the list of glamorous ceremonies. On January 14, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements in television and cinema – and show out in glamorous looks, worthy of a standing ovation.

 

The evening was bound to be memorable with the stars dressed to the nines and 2023’s best on-screen work in the spotlight. During the ceremony, Harrison Ford received the Career Achievement Award, while America Ferrera was presented with the SeeHer Award. As for the other accolades, Barbie led in film nominations with a record-breaking 18 nods, followed by Oppenheimer and Poor Things, which each boasted 13. The Morning Show took the title of front-runner on the TV front with six nominations, followed by Succession with five.

 

The grand event, which was hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler for the second year in a row, took place at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.

Ayo Edebiri arrived in an all-white suit, by the Olsen twins’ label The Row, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses.

 

Colman Domingo, in made an appearance in a custom Valentino mustard suit with a golden overcoat and matching shoes.

 

Arguably the woman of the woman of the year in the film industry, Margot Robbie modelled a beautiful, rosette dress from Balmain.

 

 

Christina Ricci wore a black custom Atsuko Kudo dress with a dramatic train and a Carolina Herrera clutch.

 

Julianne Moore adores a strapless dark purple Chanel Haute Couture gown. 

 

Jeremy Allen White wore a black suite with a red flower brooch from Tiffany & Co.

 

Matt Bomer opted for classic chic in a blue suit.

 

Fantasia Barrina looked dreamy in a white gown strapless gown with a dramatic feathered train. 

 

Ariana Greenblatt stunned in a Louis Vuitton dress with a black leather corset and white tiered skirt.
