For the third and final tier of the extraordinary ‘Out of this world: Down to Earth’ photographic series, Creative Director, King Nandi, and her fellow artists explore the character’s carefree, almost comfortable demeanour captured in an environment that would be considered to be masculine – rim and tyre shop. The concluding tier of the series represents change.
“In a nutshell, Volume 2 represents healing and acceptance. That things don’t have to be perfect. Here, we see the theme finally settling to its human element. Shot at a tyre and rim shop in Krugersdorp, Johannesburg called Dunlop Zone Gang Racing – the theme officially comes ‘Down to Earth’ with agency supermodels alongside esteemed social media influencer and YouTuber”, shares King Nandi.
“You know how spaceships are always somehow found in a car shop? This is the part where everything really started with the entire volume of the project.”
