Haute Couture season is officially in full swing – and we’re loving every second of its already epic 2024 iteration. Kicking off procedures in grand and glorious style is the always extravagant Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week which runs from 22-25 January. With the likes of Schiaparelli, Chanel, and Valentino, this year’s shows seem set to be bigger and better than ever – with the world’s celebrities flocking to the French capital to see it all first-hand.
The gowns are glorious, the make-up is artsy, and naturally, the craftsmanship is at its very finest too. But, as ever, the view is infinitely better from the front row as we are allowed to marvel at our favourite style stars populating it once more.
The looks at the star-studded Schiaparelli were head-turning. From Zendaya’s classic red carpet-ready ensemble to Jennifer Lopez’s artsy eyepiece, fashion mongers have been in for a treat since the show kicked off.
On the runway, we have seen many ensembles with major red carpet potential in various designs and colours. The theme? The artsier the better! Glitz and glamour seem to be the dominant shock factor and fashion statement maker with most gowns portraying golden details. Moreover, edgy sculpting is another recurrent theme in the collection and is arguably part of the brand’s DNA.
