The BET Awards red carpet never fails to serve up buzz-worthy fashion moments and the 2024 installment was no exception. Hollywood’s biggest names in music, film and beyond showcased their fierce fashion at the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, June 30, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
A-listers graced the red carpet in billowing ball gowns, flirty frocks, stylish suits – all paired with fabulous footwear and glorious glam. Taraji P. Henson was back for another year of hosting duties looking like a golden goddess with blonde highlights and a metallic, molten gold manicure. The star wore a custom gold Balmain dress with Tiffany & Co. jewellery and Betsey Johnson shoes.
South African singing sensation, Tyla was in her superstar element as she graced the red carpet in a vintage Versace gown that first went down the runway in 2004 along with $230,000 worth of Jared Atelier natural diamonds. Moreover, the star won the ‘Best New Artist’, as well the ‘Best International Act’ awards.
Fellow South African singer, Makhadzi also emerged victorious at the show scooping the ‘Best New International Act’ accolade!
Sparkles also had a major red carpet moment with stars Megan Good dazzling in a sparkly minidress from Maison Rizman Ruzaini that faded from silver to copper to black, and Chlöe Bailey looking like a dream in a black sequinned Mônot dress.
